When I fall into the world of extraordinary, I want to

ESCAPE! Don’t get me wrong, I love my life. I have a loving husband and five wonderful children, but sometimes, the laundry, the dishes, the homework, the dance practice, the laundry, the laundry, and the laundry, really get to be too much. (I wrote that in chronological order.) Sometimes I really need an escape. Writing and reading do that for me.

If you could choose anyone to be your book cover models, who would they be?

I would choose Ashley Greene (Alice from Twilight) as Olive Kennedy and Chris Hemsworth as Kull. Also, I would beg my mother-in-law to use her cat Sparky as Han Solo (Olive’s pet feline.)

Ashley’s character as Alice really has the right look. She’s got the short, punky haircut, her hair is dark red, and her look fits the overall feel of how I envisioned Olive. Ashley would need elven ears and green eyes for the photo shoot, but I’m sure that wouldn’t be a problem.

Christ Hemsworth as Kull. Honestly, I’m not sure he could live up to the role, but he’s definitely got the best shot. It’s not easy being King of the Wults (Vikings.) Or Faythander’s most eligible prince. Or the handsomest brute in the land. Or the strongest. Or the best hunter. I could go on…

Sparky as Han Solo the cat. We all know there is a lack of cats on covers, so his presence would definitely be warranted. Sparky has that look I’m going for–gray fur, green eyes, and a bushy tail. (I hope you all know I’m totally teasing.)

And that’s it! The cover is ready for its debut!
